Mental and emotional health

For symptoms that feel urgent but are not an immediate danger, telehealth can be a helpful first step:

  • Trouble sleeping or insomnia

If at any point your symptoms suggest a higher level of care is needed, we will help guide you to in-person or emergency services.

What Telehealth Urgent Care Cannot Safely Treat

Virtual care is powerful, but it has limits. Because we cannot perform full physical exams or in-office testing through a screen, some situations require in-person or emergency evaluation.

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room for:

  • Chest pain, pressure, or tightness

  • Severe shortness of breath or trouble breathing

  • Signs of stroke (sudden weakness, facial drooping, difficulty speaking, confusion)

  • Heavy bleeding or serious injuries

  • High fever with stiff neck or severe headache

  • Thoughts of self-harm or harm to others

  • Any sudden, severe symptom that feels like an emergency

If you are unsure whether urgent care telehealth is appropriate, you can still schedule - during the visit, we can advise if you need to be seen in person instead.

Medications We Can and Cannot Prescribe

Healthy Resolutions LLC follows safe, responsible prescribing practices.

During your visit, your provider may prescribe non-narcotic medications when appropriate, such as:

  • Antibiotics

  • Antiviral medications (for example, Tamiflu for flu when criteria are met)

  • Medications for nausea or motion sickness

  • Inhalers and other supportive treatments

  • Topical creams or ointments for skin conditions

Prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice for your convenience.

We do not prescribe controlled substances through urgent care telehealth.

That includes narcotic pain medications, benzodiazepines, and other sedative or controlled medications. This policy keeps care safe, evidence-based, and in line with national prescribing guidelines.

How a Healthy Resolutions Urgent Care Visit Works

1. Schedule your visit

Book online at a time that works for you. Appointments are available for adults in CT, MA, and NY, with same-day options when possible.

2. Meet with your provider

You will connect with a licensed, experienced provider by secure video visit. During your appointment, we will:

  • Review your symptoms and medical history

  • Ask focused questions to understand what is going on

  • Perform a virtual assessment and review any home test results you have

  • Decide on the most appropriate plan of care

3. Get a clear plan and follow up

If medication is needed, it will be sent to your preferred pharmacy. You will receive clear instructions for home care, warning signs to watch for, and when to follow up. If your symptoms do not improve or worsen, we can reassess or guide you to in-person care.
